Get Ready to Shift Gears! The Forza Horizon 6 Release Date is Almost Here, and It's Been Leaked!
Hold onto your steering wheels, racing fans! It looks like the much-anticipated Forza Horizon 6 is officially revving its engines for a May 19th launch. This date has been swirling around, and it seems it's about to be confirmed during today's Xbox Developer Direct event.
But here's where it gets interesting... A well-regarded source, Dealabs, has not only backed up this May 19th release date but has also shed light on the different game editions we can expect. While the specifics might not be groundbreaking – think Standard, Deluxe, and Premium editions, plus a physical release for Xbox Series X – it’s confirmation that the wait is nearly over.
This May release date isn't entirely out of the blue. Earlier this month, a leak hinted that Forza Horizon 6 would be arriving sooner than many expected. That same leak also teased a special pre-order bonus: an extra Ferrari to add to your in-game garage. Yes, we're talking about a digital speedster, not a real-life one!
And this is the part most people miss... We know that the vibrant setting for this next installment will be Japan, a destination that has been heavily rumored. However, so far, we've only had a cinematic glimpse. We're all eager to see some actual gameplay footage, and today's Xbox Developer Direct is our best bet for that.
Now, for a bit of a curveball: it's also confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will eventually make its way to PlayStation 5. However, this version won't be available at the same time as the Xbox and PC releases. Microsoft has stated that the game will launch first on Xbox consoles and PC in 2026, with the PlayStation 5 version arriving sometime after.
