A shocking incident at a Minnesota hospital has sparked tension and raised serious concerns. The claim by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) that a man shattered his skull by running into a wall has been met with skepticism and disbelief by medical professionals.
The story begins with Alberto Castañeda Mondragón, a Mexican immigrant, who arrived at Hennepin County Medical Center with broken bones in his face and skull. Intensive care nurses were quick to doubt the explanation given by ICE agents, who claimed he had tried to flee and intentionally crashed into a brick wall. However, the nurses, backed by medical evidence, asserted that such an impact could not account for the extensive fractures and bleeding throughout the 31-year-old's brain.
"It's absurd, and yet, there's nothing funny about it," one nurse, speaking anonymously, told The Associated Press. "The injuries simply don't match the story."
